of <h1>Leather Goods Tax Classification Changed, IGST and CGST/SGST Rates Omitted by Notification 43/2017 Effective November 15, 2017.</h1> Goods under the category 'Leather further prepared after tanning or crusting, including parchment-dressed leather, of bovine (including buffalo) or equine animals, without hair on, whether or not split, other than leather of heading 4114' were previously subject to IGST at 12% or a combination of CGST at 6% and SGST/UTGST at 6%. This classification was omitted by notification no. 43/2017, effective from November 15, 2017.
