<h1>Ceramic Wares for Technical Uses Reclassified; Omission of Previous GST Schedule 4 Classification Effective November 15, 2017.</h1> Goods previously classified under Schedule 4 for GST purposes, specifically ceramic wares for laboratory, chemical, or other technical uses, were subject to an IGST rate of 28% or a combined CGST and SGST/UTGST rate of 14% each. This classification was omitted by notification no. 43/2017 effective from November 15, 2017. Prior to this omission, as amended by notification no. 27/2017, the classification included ceramic wares used in agriculture and for the conveyance or packing of goods.
