of <h1>Goods under code 3402, taxed at 28% IGST, reclassified after notification 43/2017, effective November 15, 2017.</h1> Goods classified under code 3402, which previously included organic surface-active agents and various cleaning preparations, were subject to an Integrated Goods and Services Tax (IGST) rate of 28% or a combination of Central Goods and Services Tax (CGST) and State Goods and Services Tax (SGST)/Union Territory Goods and Services Tax (UTGST) each at 14%. This classification was omitted as per notification no. 43/2017, effective from November 15, 2017.
