New Export Policy: Conditions on Mineral Fuels, Oils & Related Products, Specific Rules for Crude Oil, Gasoline, and Biodiesel
The export policy for mineral fuels, oils, and related products outlines specific conditions for various items. Crude oil can be exported through a designated corporation. Motor gasoline and gas oil exports are generally free but require a self-declaration to ensure a portion is supplied domestically, with exemptions for exports to Bhutan and Nepal, and for units in SEZs and 100% EoUs. Kerosene and LPG exports require a NOC, with similar exemptions. Ethyl alcohol, petroleum oils, and biodiesel exports are restricted, permitted only under license for non-fuel purposes, except when produced in SEZs or EoUs using imported feedstock.
