<h1>GST increased to 18% from 22 September 2025 for goods under tariff heading 8214, per amended tax schedule</h1> Goods classified under tariff heading 8214 (other articles of cutlery, including hair clippers, butchers' or kitchen cleavers, choppers, mincing knives, and manicure/pedicure sets and instruments including nail files, excluding pencil sharpeners) are subject to GST at 18% with effect from 22 September 2025, as provided in the applicable schedule and accompanying notification amending tax rates. The rate change takes effect on the stated date and applies to supplies falling within that classification.
