<h1>Commissioner Appointed as Adjudicating Authority for Customs Case Involving Shree Laxmi Trading Under Customs Act Sections 4 and 5.</h1> The Central Board of Excise and Customs has appointed the Commissioner of Customs (Import) at Jawaharlal Nehru Custom House, Maharashtra, as the common adjudicating authority for matters related to a show cause notice issued to M/s. Shree Laxmi Trading Company and another party. This appointment is made under the powers conferred by sections 4 and 5 of the Customs Act, 1962. The adjudication pertains to a notice issued on March 13, 2008, by the Directorate General of Revenue Intelligence, Ahmedabad Zonal Unit.
