The exemption applies to various forms of iron and steel, including pig iron, ferrous products, waste, scrap, and flat rolled products, among others, as well as Basmati rice. The specified goods, when exported, are exempt from customs duties exceeding the rates outlined in the notification, which are primarily set at nil. This notification was later superseded by Notification No. 27/2011, effective March 1, 2011.
