<h1>India Amends Customs Notification for Goods Origin Rules under India-Singapore Economic Cooperation Agreement, Effective March 20, 2008.</h1> The Government of India, through the Ministry of Finance's Department of Revenue, has issued an amendment to Notification No. 59/2005-Customs (N.T.), originally published on July 20, 2005. This amendment, effective March 20, 2008, renames the rules as 'Customs Tariff Determination of Origin of Goods under the Comprehensive Economic Cooperation Agreement between the Republic of India and Republic of Singapore Rules, 2005.' This change is made under the authority of the Customs Tariff Act, 1975, and is documented as Notification No. 30/2008-Customs (N.T.).
