India Imposes Anti-Dumping Duty on Chinese Rubber Chemical MBTS for Five Years Under Customs Tariff Act, 1975.
The Government of India has imposed an anti-dumping duty on imports of Dibenzothiazole disulphide (MBTS), a rubber chemical, originating from or exported by China. This decision follows a sunset review investigation under the Customs Tariff Act, 1975. The duty rate is set at 0.23 USD per kilogram and will be effective for five years unless revoked or amended earlier. The notification specifies that the applicable exchange rate for calculating the duty will be determined by the rate specified in the Government's notifications under the Customs Act, 1962. The notification remains in force until October 19, 2017, unless revoked sooner.
