of <h1>MCA Amends Companies Rules 1956: Updates to Form No. 8 and Form No. 17 Effective May 29, 2011</h1> The Ministry of Corporate Affairs has issued a notification amending the Companies (Central Government's) General Rules and Forms, 1956. This amendment, effective from May 29, 2011, involves the revision of Form No. 8 and Form No. 17. The changes are made under the authority granted by sub-section (1) of Section 642, in conjunction with Section 610B of the Companies Act, 1956. The updated forms are specified in Annexure A of the amended rules.
