of <h1>Delhi VAT Act Amended: Changes to Schedules Include LPG, Oral Iron Chelators, and High-End Watches</h1> The notification announces amendments to the First, Third, and Fourth Schedules of the Delhi Value Added Tax Act, 2004. Changes include the omission of certain commodities and the addition of others, such as Oral Iron Chelator Defarasirox and Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) for domestic use in the First Schedule. The Third Schedule sees alterations in commodities like utensils, readymade garments, and writing instruments, among others. The Fourth Schedule includes additions such as aerated drinks and watches costing above five thousand rupees. These amendments are effective immediately as per the directive of the Lt. Governor of Delhi.
