This amendment, effective from September 1, 2009, modifies entry number 11 in the notification's table to specify 'Transport of goods by rail.' This change is made under the authority of section 93(1) of the Finance Act, 1994, and is deemed necessary in the public interest. The principal notification was previously amended on April 25, 2006.
