of <h1>Duty Drawback Rates Revised for Silk Products: Silk Fabric, Natural Silk Garments, and Lungies Updated Retroactively Under Chapter 50 & 62.</h1> The Central Government has amended Notification No. 29/2001-Customs (N.T.) to revise the duty drawback rates for silk products. Changes include an update to Chapter 50, setting the drawback rate for silk fabric at Rs.10 per square meter. In Chapter 62, new entries specify Rs.350 per kg for natural silk garments with embroidery and made-up articles from silk, and Rs.10 per square meter for handloom/powerloom silk lungies. These amendments are effective retroactively from November 26, 2001.
