The amendment, under Notification No. 37/97-Cus dated April 11, 1997, includes changes to the table and annexure of the original notification. It substitutes entries related to coin blanks imported by the Government of India Mint and adds a new list, List 8A, specifying goods such as analyzers, detectors, valves, and other equipment required for crude petroleum refineries, which are exempt from customs duties.
