<h1>Amendments to FEMA Notification: Deputy Directors of Enforcement to Handle Cases Up to 75 Lakhs Rupees in Designated Zones.</h1> The Central Government, under the Foreign Exchange Management Act 1999, has amended the notification S.O. 535(E) dated 1st June 2000. The amendments involve changes to the designation and jurisdiction of adjudicating authorities. Specifically, Deputy Directors of Enforcement in various zones including Ahmedabad, Bangalore, Chandigarh, Chennai, Delhi, Hyderabad, Kolkata, Lucknow, Kochi, and Mumbai are now designated to handle cases involving amounts not exceeding 75 lakhs rupees within their respective zones. Additionally, Deputy Directors at the Delhi Headquarters will manage similar cases across these zones as assigned by the Director of Enforcement.
