of <h1>Fixation of tariff values for edible oils, brass scrap, areca nut, gold and silver updated; tables substituted, effective 4 Feb 2026</h1> The Central Board exercises its power to fix tariff values under the Customs Act and substitutes revised TABLE-1, TABLE-2 and TABLE-3 setting specific tariff values for edible oils (including crude palm oil, RBD palm oil, palmolein, soya bean oil), brass scrap, areca nut, gold and silver. The notification prescribes dollar-per-unit tariff values for each listed commodity, retains several values unchanged, and specifies that the amendment enters into force from 4 February 2026, thereby updating the operative tariff valuation framework for imports of these goods.
