of <h1>6% State GST on specified construction materials (bricks, blocks, tiles, fly ash aggregates) effective 22 September 2025</h1> Under authority of specified provisions of the Puducherry Goods and Services Tax Act, 2017, the territorial government notifies a 6% State GST on intra-State supplies of certain construction materials-including fly ash bricks/aggregates/blocks, bricks of fossil meals or similar siliceous earths, building bricks, and earthen or roofing tiles-identified by listed tariff headings; interpretation follows Customs Tariff rules and relevant GST statutes. The rate takes effect 22 September 2025.
