of <h1>Customs fixes revised tariff values for edible oils, brass scrap, areca nut, gold and silver under section 14(2)</h1> By exercise of powers under section 14(2) of the Customs Act, 1962, the customs authority amends the principal non-tariff notification by substituting Tables 1-3 to fix tariff values for specified imports effective 30 August 2025. Revised values are set in US$/MT for edible oils (crude and RBD palm oil/palmolein, crude soybean oil), brass scrap, and areca nut, and in US$ per unit for gold and silver (specified forms and conditions). The amendment replaces the corresponding tables in the 2001 notification.
