of <h1>Central Govt Amends Jurisdiction of Tax Officers in Rajasthan Districts: Alwar, Jaipur, Jodhpur, Udaipur Effective Aug 2023.</h1> The Central Government has amended Notification No. 02/2017-Central Tax, dated June 19, 2017, concerning the jurisdiction of Central Tax Officers under the Central Goods and Services Tax Act, 2017 and the Integrated Goods and Services Tax Act, 2017. Effective August 5, 2023, changes include updates to jurisdictional areas for Alwar, Jaipur, Jodhpur, and Udaipur districts in Rajasthan. Specific districts and tehsils have been reassigned to different serial numbers, affecting tax administration boundaries. These amendments were published by the Ministry of Finance, Central Board of Indirect Taxes and Customs, on May 29, 2024.
