of <h1>Amendment to Notification No. 2/2017: New Exemptions for Aquatic Feed and Husk of Pulses Under UTGST Act 2017.</h1> The Central Government has amended Notification No. 2/2017-Union Territory Tax (Rate) under the Union Territory Goods and Services Tax Act, 2017, effective January 1, 2023. The amendment modifies the exemption list for intra-State supplies of goods. Specifically, entry 102 now includes aquatic, shrimp, prawn, poultry, and cattle feed, among others, while a new entry 102C has been added for husk of pulses, concentrates, and khanda. This change aims to align with public interest recommendations from the Council.
