of <h1>India Lifts Countervailing Duty on Chinese Stainless Steel Imports as per Notification No. 1/2022-Customs (CVD.</h1> The Government of India, through the Ministry of Finance, has rescinded the countervailing duty imposed on imports of certain hot rolled and cold rolled stainless steel flat products originating from or exported by China, as per Notification No. 1/2017-Customs (CVD) dated September 7, 2017. This decision is executed under the powers conferred by the Customs Tariff Act, 1975, and related rules. The rescission does not affect actions taken or omitted under the previous notification before this change. This update was formalized in Notification No. 1/2022-Customs (CVD) on February 1, 2022.
