of <h1>CGST Act Deadline Extended: File Revocation Applications for Canceled Registrations by September 30, 2021, per Section 29(2.</h1> The notification extends the deadline for filing applications for revocation of cancellation of registration under the Central Goods and Services Tax (CGST) Act. This extension applies to cases where the registration was canceled under specific clauses of section 29(2) of the CGST Act, and the original deadline for filing such applications was between March 1, 2020, and August 31, 2021. The new deadline for these applications is now set to September 30, 2021. This decision was made by the Ministry of Finance's Central Board of Indirect Taxes and Customs, based on recommendations from the Council.
