of <h1>New Rule Requires Companies to File e-Form ACTIVE by April 25, 2019, or Face Compliance Restrictions and Fees.</h1> The Companies (Incorporation) Amendment Rules, 2019, effective from February 25, 2019, introduce a requirement for companies incorporated on or before December 31, 2017, to file particulars in e-Form ACTIVE by April 25, 2019. Companies that have not filed due financial statements or annual returns will be restricted from filing unless under management dispute. Companies struck off, under liquidation, amalgamated, or dissolved are exempt. Failure to comply results in being marked 'ACTIVE-non-compliant,' restricting certain filings. Filing after April 26, 2019, incurs a fee of ten thousand rupees to regain 'ACTIVE Compliant' status.
