<h1>India Revises Customs Tariff Values for Edible Oils, Metals, and More u/s 14 of Customs Act, 1962.</h1> The Government of India, through the Ministry of Finance, has issued Notification No. 32/2018-CUSTOMS (N.T.) dated 13th April 2018, amending previous customs notifications. The notification revises tariff values for various goods including edible oils, brass scrap, poppy seeds, areca nuts, gold, and silver. The new tariff values are specified in three tables, detailing the US dollar value per metric tonne or per unit for each item. This adjustment is made under the authority of Section 14 of the Customs Act, 1962, and replaces previous tables in the notification dated 3rd August 2001.
