of <h1>Amended Notification No. 11/2017-CT(R) Sets New GST Rates for Restaurants and Handicraft Goods Effective November 15, 2017.</h1> The notification amends Notification No. 11/2017-CT(R) to establish a 2.5% GST rate for standalone restaurants and 9% for others. It reduces the job work rate on handicraft goods to 2.5% and revises the description of services for certain entries. Specifically, it updates the definition of services provided by restaurants and related establishments, distinguishing those within hotels and similar premises with tariffs above a specified amount. The notification also includes provisions for handicraft goods manufacturing. These amendments take effect from November 15, 2017.
