of <h1>West Bengal Sets Annual GST Interest Rates: 18% & 24% for Section 50, 6% for Sections 54 & 56, 9% Proviso Rate.</h1> The Government of West Bengal's Finance Department issued a notification on June 29, 2017, establishing the annual interest rates under the West Bengal Goods and Services Tax Ordinance, 2017. The rates are as follows: 18% for sub-section (1) of section 50, 24% for sub-section (3) of section 50, 6% for sub-section (12) of section 54, and 6% for section 56. Additionally, the proviso to section 56 specifies a 9% interest rate. These rates are effective from July 1, 2017.
