<h1>Haryana GST Act 2017: State Divided into Five Tax Ranges with Specific Administrative Oversight Effective July 1, 2017.</h1> Under the Haryana Goods and Services Tax Act of 2017, the state of Haryana is divided into five tax administration ranges: Ambala, Faridabad, Gurugram, Hisar, and Rohtak. Each range encompasses specific districts and will be overseen by a Joint Commissioner of State Tax. Districts within these ranges will be managed by a Deputy Commissioner of State Tax, while circles will be supervised by an Excise and Taxation Officer or an Assistant Excise and Taxation Officer. This administrative structure is effective from July 1, 2017, as ordered by the Haryana Government's Excise and Taxation Department.
