of <h1>India Extends Anti-Dumping Duty on Chinese Partially Oriented Yarn Until May 2018 Under Customs Tariff Act.</h1> The Government of India, through its Ministry of Finance, has extended the levy of anti-dumping duty on Partially Oriented Yarn (POY) originating from or exported by China. This extension, under notification No. 16/2017-Customs (ADD), dated May 9, 2017, follows a review initiated by the designated authority as per the Customs Tariff Act, 1975. The anti-dumping duty, initially imposed under notification No. 22/2012-Customs (ADD) dated May 2, 2012, will now remain in effect until May 1, 2018, unless revoked earlier.
