of <h1>India Imposes Provisional Anti-Dumping Duty on Steel Imports from Six Countries to Protect Domestic Industry.</h1> The Government of India, through the Ministry of Finance, has imposed a provisional anti-dumping duty on imports of hot-rolled flat products of alloy or non-alloy steel from China, Japan, Korea RP, Russia, Brazil, and Indonesia. This decision follows preliminary findings indicating that these imports are priced below normal value, causing material injury to the domestic industry. The duty aims to mitigate this injury and will be effective for up to eight months from the notification date. The duty is calculated based on the difference between a specified amount and the landed value of the imports, provided the landed value is lower.
