<h1>India's Ministry of Finance exempts SEIS-imported goods from customs duties under Notification No. 25/2015, with specific conditions.</h1> Notification No. 25/2015, issued by the Ministry of Finance, exempts goods imported into India under the Service Export from India Scheme (SEIS) from customs duties as per the Customs Tariff Act, 1975. The exemption applies to goods imported using a duty credit scrip issued for exporting services listed in Appendix 3D of the Foreign Trade Policy 2015-2020. Imports must occur through specified ports or zones, and the scrip must be registered with customs. The scrip and imported goods are transferable, and importers can claim duty drawbacks or CENVAT credit. The exemption excludes items in Appendix 3A of the policy.
