<h1>India Updates Quarterly Return Form for Dealers and Importers Under CENVAT Credit Rules Effective April 1, 2014</h1> The Government of India, Ministry of Finance, Department of Revenue, issued Notification No. 11/2014-Central Excise (N.T.) on February 28, 2014, to replace the existing Quarterly Return prescribed by Notification No. 73/2003-Central Excise (N.T.) dated September 15, 2003. This amendment introduces a new Quarterly Return Form for first stage dealers, second stage dealers, or registered importers under the CENVAT Credit Rules, 2004. The form requires details such as dealer/importer name, excise registration number, address, invoice particulars, and duty amounts. The notification takes effect on April 1, 2014.
