      Prohibition on import of milk and milk products from China
      Summary: The amendment to ITC (HS) 2017, Schedule 1 (Import Policy) extends the prohibition on import of milk and milk products from China - including chocolates, chocolate products, candies, confectionery and food preparations with milk or milk solids - for four months, keeping the ban in force until 23 April 2019 or until further orders.

      Grant of recognition to stock exchanges

      Summary: A security vulnerability was found in RFID electronic seals procured from M/s Leghorn Group, Italy and supplied by three named authorised vendors; those e-seals are not permitted for use until further orders. Export Gate Officers must verify at scanning that e-seals are properly locked, and the concerned Superintendent may order container examination based on perceived risk parameters. Trade parties must report any implementation difficulties to the issuing office.
