      Seeks to amend notification No. 57/2000-Customs dated 08.05.2000 providing for extension of last date of export by six months, for those cases where the last date of export falls between 01.02.2021 and 30.06.2021.
      Summary: The notification inserts a proviso into Notification No. 57/2000-Customs providing a six month extension of the last date for export where the original last date of export falls between 1 February 2021 and 30 June 2021, effected by amendment published under the powers of the Customs Act.

      Supersession Notification No.65/2021-Customs(N.T.), dated 5th August, 2021
      Summary: The Central Board fixes conversion rates between specified foreign currencies and the Indian rupee for customs valuation, effective 20th August, 2021, superseding the earlier notification except for prior actions. Rates are published in two annexed schedules: Schedule I sets per unit rupee equivalents for multiple currencies with separate columns for imported and exported goods; Schedule II sets rupee equivalents per 100 units for currencies quoted per 100 units.

      Seeks to provide the concessional rate of HGST on Covid-19 relief supplies, up to and inclusive of 30th September 2021
      Summary: Notification exercises powers under section 11(1) of the Himachal Pradesh Goods and Services Tax Act to exempt specified Covid-19 relief goods from so much of the state tax as exceeds the rates listed in the Table, thereby capping state tax at the stated concessional rates for those tariff items. The Table prescribes concessional or nil rates for identified medical oxygen, medicines, diagnostic kits, protective and respiratory equipment, certain devices and ambulances. The concession is time limited and remains in force up to and inclusive of 30th September 2021.

      Amendment in Notification No. 11/2017-State Tax (Rate) dated the 30th June, 2017,
      Summary: The notification inserts a proviso in Notification No. 11/2017-State Tax (Rate) (Table, serial number 3, column (3), item (iv) after clause (f)) prescribing that, for a defined period, the state tax on the services described in clause (f) shall, irrespective of the rate specified in the Table, be levied at a lower specified rate.

      18/2021-State Tax - dated - 27-7-2021 - Himachal Pradesh SGST
      Amendment in Notification No. 13/2017-State Tax dated the 30th June, 2017
      Summary: Amendment substitutes the proviso wording to replace FORM GSTR-3B-specific phrasing with broader language describing liability to pay tax but failure to do so; replaces the table heading "Tax period" with "Month/Quarter"; and substitutes serials 4-7 to prescribe staged late-fee tiers and corresponding applicability windows for taxpayers differentiated by aggregate turnover and by the specific return provisions of section 39, covering filings for March-May 2021 and the quarter ending March 2021. The notification takes effect retrospectively from the stated commencement date.

      Amendment in Notification No. 83/2020-State Tax, dated the 14th December, 2020,
      Summary: Amendment inserts the words and figure "and May, 2021" after "April, 2021" in the second proviso of Notification No. 83/2020 State Tax, effected under the second proviso to sub section (1) of section 37 read with section 168 of the Himachal Pradesh Goods and Services Tax Act, 2017, on the Council's recommendation and by the Governor's order; the amendment confines itself to extending the temporal scope of the cited proviso.

      Summary: Rule 12AA designates as the prescribed person for verification of returns any person appointed by the Adjudicating Authority to discharge duties of an interim resolution professional, resolution professional, or liquidator under the Insolvency and Bankruptcy Code, 2016, with "Adjudicating Authority" defined as in clause (1) of section 5 of that Code. Rule 51B similarly provides that any person so appointed shall be the authorised representative for appearance in respect of a company or limited liability partnership.
