      Summary: The Commission determined that associations of exhibitors and distributors coordinated to limit new film releases to predetermined theatres and enforced compliance by boycotting non compliant members, constituting an agreement that restricted distribution and market access.       Summary: The Reserve Bank of India published the daily reference rate for the US dollar and, using that reference and middle cross-currency rates, provided corresponding rupee exchange rates for the euro, pound sterling and Japanese yen for the stated dates; the SDR rupee rate is to be based on the published reference rate.
      Summary: Re-issue auctions of four specified Government stocks will be conducted by the Reserve Bank of India using a price-based multiple-price method, with up to 5% of each notified amount reserved for eligible participants under the Scheme for Non-Competitive Bidding Facility.       Income-tax (8th Amendment) Rules, 2015 - Amendment in Rule 12 and ITR Forms to be filed for the AY 2015-16
      Summary: The Income tax (8th Amendment) Rules, 2015 amend Rule 12 to (i) fix an agricultural income threshold of Rs. 5,000 in the proviso clauses of sub rule (1); (ii) insert clause (ba) requiring certain individuals and HUFs whose total income excludes business/profession and capital gains to file in Form ITR 2A and verify as indicated; (iii) revise sub rule (4) to confine filing modes to those set out in column (iv) of the Table in sub rule (3), excluding paper form; and (iv) update Appendix II to add Form ITR 2A. The changes are deemed effective from 1 April 2015.

      Summary: The Central Government declares that income arising to M/s Dassault Aviation S.A. by way of royalty or fees for technical services received pursuant to General Contract No. Air HQ/96102/2/ASR-DA for retrofitting fifty-one defence aircraft shall not be included in computing the total income of the said company under the Income-tax law.

      New format of Bank Guarantee, to be executed with DGFT, for recognition as Pre-Shipment Inspection Agency (PSIA).
      Summary: Unconditional, irrevocable bank guarantee format prescribed for PSIA recognition under the Foreign Trade Policy 2015 20 requires the guarantor to pay on demand for any loss or damage arising from breach of the Handbook of Procedures or any other law, with liability payable without protest, enforceable despite disputes, continuing until the specified claim period expires, and not revocable without prior written consent of the Government.

      Authorization of Additional Public Sector Banks for Collection of Customs Duty through e-payment-reg.
      Summary: Nine additional public sector banks are authorized to collect customs duty by e-payment; designated e-FPB branches will receive e-receipts from EDI locations, transmit daily electronic EASeR-C format scrolls/challans to e-PAO, Customs, New Delhi, and settle funds with RBI via CAS Nagpur. Banks will also supply physical scrolls/challans as an interim measure, must follow the revised Memorandum of Instruction and RBI guidelines on collection and remittance (including interest on delayed remittance), and must include the e-FPB BSR Code on challans and the e-PAO Code on e-scrolls.
