<h1>Navi Mumbai crime detection improved with major seizures, extraditions, deportations, and a new Cy Fi unit and helpline.</h1> Navi Mumbai reported an 80% overall detection rate in 2025 (6,276 of 7,835 cases), including 99% for crimes against women and body offences, 57% for property offences and 66% for economic offences. The force recovered Rs 18.30 crore in detected stolen-property cases (54% recovery rate) and returned 2,550 phones via the CEIR portal. Enforcement actions included contraband seizures of Rs 63 crore with 1,156 arrests, dismantling an international narcotics racket, extradition and arrest of international suspects, deportation of 1,007 foreigners, blocking Rs 25.60 crore in cybercrime losses, and creation of a Cy Fi unit with a 24/7 helpline.
