Preliminary findings indicate a group created fraudulent GST registrations using forged documents to fraudulently claim and pass on input tax credit, employed shell entities with no genuine operations to generate fake invoices and e-way bills, and maintained fabricated identity documents. Seized items include mobile phones, forged papers, fictitious identity cards and photographs purporting to show non-functional business units.
