Indirect tax revenue is expected to grow by 26.7%, while direct tax revenue is projected to rise by 13.9%. Total expenditure is budgeted at Rs. 14,90,925 crore, with significant allocations for subsidies, defense, and social services. The plan expenditure is set at Rs. 5,21,025 crore, an 18% increase. Non-plan expenditure is budgeted at Rs. 9,69,900 crore, largely due to higher provisions for subsidies and interest payments.
