For January 2012, indirect tax revenue grew by 7.2%, with a cumulative growth of 15.1% from April to January compared to the previous year. Customs revenue increased by 2.5% in January, with a 12.7% growth overall. Central Excise revenue saw a decline in January but maintained a 6.8% growth overall.
