New 7-Day Reporting Deadline for Invoices on IRP Portals for Businesses with AATO of 100 Crores+ from May 1.
The government has announced a new time limit for reporting invoices on the e-invoice IRP portals for taxpayers with an annual aggregate turnover (AATO) of 100 crores or more. These taxpayers must report invoices within seven days of the invoice date. This restriction applies only to invoices, not to debit or credit notes. For instance, an invoice dated April 1, 2023, must be reported by April 8, 2023. This change will take effect from May 1, 2023. Taxpayers with an AATO below 100 crores are not subject to this restriction.
