<h1>Central Government Disburses Rs. 30,000 Crore GST Compensation; Rs. 63,000 Crore Still Pending for 2020-21.</h1> The Central Government has disbursed Rs. 30,000 crore as GST compensation to States and Union Territories for the fiscal year 2020-21, with a total of Rs. 70,000 crore released so far. Additionally, a back-to-back loan of Rs. 1,10,208 crore was provided to address the GST compensation shortfall. An ad-hoc settlement of Rs. 28,000 crore in IGST was also distributed, with Rs. 14,000 crore each to States and the Centre. After these disbursements, approximately Rs. 63,000 crore in GST compensation remains pending for the fiscal year 2020-21.
