<h1>Confiscated Ancient Coins and Antiquities Worth Rs. 63.90 Crore Transferred to Archaeological Survey of India.</h1> The Union Finance Minister handed over confiscated antiquities and coins from ancient and medieval periods to the Tourism and Culture Minister in a ceremony. These items, seized in 1994 from foreign nationals at Delhi Airport, include 40,282 coins from eras such as the Sultanate, Mughal, and British India, as well as antique seals and a silver waistband. After legal proceedings, their value was assessed at Rs. 63.90 crore. The items are being transferred to the Archaeological Survey of India as per guidelines. Senior officials from various departments attended the event.
