<h1>CBDT and MoMSME Sign MoU to Share Tax Data for Classifying MSMEs; Officers Appointed for Data Exchange.</h1> A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed between the Central Board of Direct Taxes (CBDT) and the Ministry of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MoMSME) for the sharing of data. This agreement, effective immediately, allows the CBDT to provide certain Income-tax Return information to MoMSME, aiding in the classification of enterprises under the Micro, Small, and Medium categories as per recent criteria. Nodal and Alternate Nodal Officers will be appointed by both organizations to facilitate the data exchange process, marking enhanced cooperation between the two entities.
