The individual admitted to creating firms under different names to issue these invoices and earn commissions. These actions violated several provisions of the Central Goods and Services Tax Act, 2017, leading to his arrest and judicial custody. The DGGI has recovered Rs. 3.75 crore from the evaded GST, with further investigations ongoing.
