A committee, including representatives from various government bodies and organizations, has recommended this integration, and the GST Council is reviewing their report. Additionally, the feasibility of linking FASTag with the Logistic Databank is being examined by another committee, which has also submitted its findings. These measures aim to strengthen the use of RFID data in the e-way bill system. The Union Minister of Finance disclosed this information in a written response to the Lok Sabha.
