The arrests were made under the CGST Act, 2017, and the individuals were presented before the Judicial Magistrate in Gurugram. Investigations revealed that the businessmen created fake entities to circulate invoices without genuine transactions, using third-party payment adjustments. Additional suspects are absconding, and further investigations may uncover more fraudulent firms.
