<h1>MCA Updates Payment Process: Electronic Payments Mandatory Over Rs. 50,000 From October 1, 2011. Enhance Service Delivery.</h1> The Ministry of Corporate Affairs announced changes to the payment process for MCA fees. Starting May 29, 2011, payments under Rs. 50,000 can be made electronically to the Investor Education and Protection Fund using the Pay Misc. Fee functionality. This applies to Official Liquidator offices and MCA employees. For payments over Rs. 50,000, stakeholders may choose electronic payment or paper challan until October 1, 2011, after which electronic payment will be mandatory. This initiative aims to enhance service delivery by accepting electronic payments for MCA 21 Services for amounts up to Rs. 50,000 since March 27, 2011.
