of <h1>India Extends PMGKY Declaration Deadline to May 10, 2017, Following Stakeholder Requests; Deposit Deadline Now April 30, 2017.</h1> The Government of India has extended the deadline for filing declarations under the Pradhan Mantri Garib Kalyan Yojana (PMGKY) to 10th May 2017. This extension follows stakeholder requests, as some had paid the required tax, surcharge, and penalty by the original deadline of 31st March 2017 but were unable to make the necessary deposits under the Pradhan Mantri Garib Kalyan Deposit Scheme by that date. The deposit deadline has been extended to 30th April 2017, allowing those who met the initial payment deadline to complete their declarations by the new filing date.
