<h1>Customs Act Update: New Tariff Values for Oils, Metals, and Nuts Announced by Ministry of Finance.</h1> The Central Board of Excise and Customs has amended the tariff values for various commodities under the Customs Act, 1962. The revised values include crude palm oil at $784 per metric tonne, RBD palm oil at $801, and crude soyabean oil at $814. Brass scrap is set at $3246 per metric tonne, while poppy seeds are valued at $2648. Gold is priced at $409 per 10 grams and silver at $597 per kilogram. Areca nuts have a tariff value of $2594 per metric tonne. These changes are part of a notification from the Ministry of Finance.
