The current demand raised was Rs. 97,033 crore after accounting for prepaid taxes of Rs. 59,410 crore. Regional targets include Rs. 7,285 crore for Delhi and Rs. 3,926 crore for Mumbai. Officials are instructed to intensify efforts to recover both arrears and current demand to meet the annual target and contribute to the overall budget goals.
