<h1>Board Approves 10 New SEZs, Including IT/ITES and Textile Projects in Gujarat and Navi Mumbai, Boosting Jobs and Investments.</h1> The Board of Approval for Special Economic Zones (SEZs) reviewed 19 applications and granted 10 formal and 2 in-principle approvals for new SEZs. Notable approvals include IT/ITES SEZs by a major consultancy firm in Gujarat, three by a private company in Navi Mumbai, and one by a state development corporation in Gujarat. An in-principle approval was given for a textile SEZ by a textile company in Gujarat. To date, 386 SEZs have received formal approval, with 149 notified, attracting investments of over Rs. 47,732 crore and providing employment to over 40,729 individuals.
